Senior Business Analyst Finance & Risk Data | BCBS239 Credit Risk Programme | Major Dutch Bank

A major Dutch bank is looking for a senior Business Analyst to support its Common Data teams in delivering a time-critical BCBS239 credit risk data roadmap. You will cover 16 credit risk use cases, Definition of Default delivery and the onboarding of newly acquired entities into the bank’s Finance & Risk data platform. You will work across Finance, Risk, IT and data teams.

About the role

This is a hands-on, result-oriented assignment where you bridge business requirements, data modelling and delivery. You will own a prioritised backlog, run monthly data model releases and coordinate testing across multiple teams. The assignment is based in the Amsterdam area with a hybrid setup.

You will:

• Translate functional and technical requirements into epics, user stories and acceptance criteria for credit risk data products, including Collateral and Definition of Default
• Align data delivery models with the business logical data model and coordinate monthly releases
• Coordinate end-to-end testing, defect resolution and entity onboarding in line with BCBS239 and the Data Management Framework
• Investigate and resolve data discrepancies during Basel validation

About you

• Senior experience as a Business Analyst, Product Owner or data product lead in Finance & Risk data at a bank
• Knowledge of BCBS239 and credit risk data processes
• Strong understanding of data modelling, data quality, acceptance testing and release management
• HBO/WO degree in data management, finance, econometrics, computer science or a related field
