The Opportunity

We are looking for a Business Developer to support major HR technology changes at a leading Dutch financial institution. The Talent Hub IT team will be involved in two key initiatives for 2027: implementing SmartRecruiters to replace the current recruitment platform, and implementing SAP Position Management. You will work as the bridge between HR/business stakeholders and IT specialists, helping turn business needs into clear requirements and workable technology solutions.

What You’ll Do

* Gather, clarify and structure requirements from HR stakeholders and policy owners.

* Translate business needs into detailed, actionable IT requirements and functional solutions.

* Analyse and optimise business processes, considering different scenarios and potential impacts.

* Break down requirements into manageable pieces of work and support prioritisation and planning in line with Product Owner priorities.

* Coordinate IT changes with engineers and other Agile team members, monitoring progress through execution and implementation.

* Maintain clear, accurate documentation and manage stakeholder expectations about what is and is not technically feasible.

* Identify issues, dependencies and blockers, escalating them to the Product Owner or relevant manager when needed. * Ensure changes are delivered in line with applicable governance, risk and compliance processes.
