Rabobank was facing increasing pressure to accelerate the use of AI and Generative AI across the organisation. Business teams were keen to
move quickly, but there was a risk that delivery could become fragmented without sufficient execution capacity.

At the same time, all AI-related initiatives needed to comply with strict regulatory, security and governance requirements.

Although Rabobank had strong internal knowledge and leadership in place, internal teams did not have sufficient additional capacity or specialist GenAI engineering skills to scale delivery at the required pace

The Solution

Levy partnered with Rabobank to support the delivery of Generative AI initiatives by providing additional execution capacity alongside Rabobank’s internal teams.

Levy supplied a mix of AI engineers, software engineers, solution architects, cloud specialists and supporting roles. Professionals were sourced from both the Dutch market and international talent pools and worked in line with Rabobank’s existing governance, security and compliance requirements.

For international hires, Levy assumed full responsibility for:

• Visa sponsorship and immigration compliance
• Relocation logistics
• Local onboarding and employment setup
• Ongoing employer-of-record responsibilities

This enabled Rabobank to access specialised skills that were not readily available in the local market, without adding operational or compliance burden to internal teams.

Levy worked closely with Rabobank stakeholders throughout the engagement, maintaining regular alignment with business and technical counterparts to ensure professionals could integrate effectively and contribute as expected within Rabobank’s delivery processes.

This approach allowed Rabobank to increase delivery capacity for AI initiatives while maintaining control over standards, governance and risk.
