Levy Global is looking for a Senior Project Manager – Operations & Process Transition to support a major outsourcing transformation within a leading financial services organisation in the Netherlands.

About the Role

As Senior Project Manager, you will play a key role in one of the organisation’s most significant operational transformations, overseeing the transition of essential operational services to a strategic outsourcing partner.

You will be responsible for preparing, coordinating and executing the operational transition, ensuring a seamless integration between processes transferred to the external vendor and those retained internally.

Working across Operations, Business, Risk, Compliance, IT and senior management, you will ensure operational readiness, effective governance and a sustainable long-term vendor relationship.

This is a hands-on role requiring strong ownership, pragmatic problem-solving and the ability to deliver results in a complex, highly regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the end-to-end transition of operational processes to a strategic outsourcing partner.

• Develop and maintain detailed project plans covering the Operations & Processes workstream.

• Monitor project milestones, dependencies, deliverables and critical-path activities.

• Ensure effective integration between outsourced operations and internally retained processes.

• Establish clear operational responsibilities, governance structures and vendor collaboration frameworks.

• Identify operational risks, bottlenecks and dependencies, proactively implementing solutions.

• Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders across Operations, IT, Risk, Compliance and Business.

• Ensure business readiness, regulatory compliance and operational continuity throughout the transition.

• Manage relationships with external vendors and internal stakeholders.

• Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement throughout the transformation.

About You

We are looking for a highly experienced Project Manager who combines strategic oversight with hands-on execution.

Requirements

• Minimum 8-10 years of experience as a Project Manager or Programme Manager within financial services.

• Demonstrable experience with operational processes in banking, payments, cards or financial services outsourcing.

• Strong experience in business process transitions, operational transformation, operational excellence or Business Process Outsourcing (BPO).

• Proven ability to manage external suppliers and complex vendor relationships.

• Experience working in highly regulated environments involving Risk, Compliance and Audit.

• Strong project planning, governance and delivery management capabilities.

• Excellent stakeholder management skills, including working with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.

• Ability to manage complex dependencies, competing priorities and operational challenges.
