DevOps Coach in Utrecht

DevOps Coach & Change Enabler | Lead Agile and DevOps ways of working across five teams | Major Dutch Bank

A major Dutch bank is looking for a DevOps Coach & Change Enabler to join its Asset Based Finance IT organisation in Utrecht. ABF finances leasing and commercial finance, using both partner software and in-house applications. You will work directly with the IT Lead and Grid Owner to help five DevOps teams deliver faster, with better quality and more predictability, while building a strong culture of ownership and continuous improvement.

About the role
In this role you will set the direction for the Grid’s DevOps journey. You will coach teams and leadership, implement Agile practices at scale, and step in with targeted interventions where cross-team issues slow delivery down. Your stakeholders include DevOps teams, Product Owners, IT Leads, Grid Owners and senior management. The role is based in Utrecht, in a hybrid setup.

You will:

• Improve delivery flow by strengthening DevOps capabilities and Agile practices across five teams
• Align teams, Product Owners and IT leadership on priorities, ownership and dependencies
• Use insights and metrics to drive targeted coaching and improvements in quality and predictability
• Challenge existing patterns constructively and build support for change with senior management

About you

• 5+ years of experience in an Agile coaching or similar role, plus 5+ years in change and stakeholder management
• Professional Scrum Master (PSM I) certified, with training in a scaling framework (SAFe, LeSS, Nexus or Spotify)
• Hands-on knowledge of DevOps and Lean / Six Sigma
• HBO or WO level education
• Fluent in Dutch and English
