ABOUT YOU

Are you an experienced Application Security Specialist with a strong background in securing modern software environments and a growing focus on AI and agent security? You enjoy working across application security, cloud, DevSecOps and emerging AI technologies, providing practical security guidance while helping engineering teams adopt secure-by-design practices.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO

• Implement Application Security controls, standards and secure-by-design practices to improve security maturity.
• Perform security assessments, threat modelling and architecture reviews across applications, cloud platforms and AI solutions.
• Establish and operationalise security controls and guardrails for AI applications, AI agents, RAG architectures and AI-enabled development platforms.
• Strengthen software and AI supply chain security through SBOM/AI-BOM requirements, dependency risk management and third-party AI governance.
• Support vulnerability management, remediation, developer enablement and Security Champion initiatives to reduce application, AI and supply chain risks.

AN IDEAL PROFILE WOULD BE

• 6+ years of experience in Application Security, Security Engineering or DevSecOps, with hands-on knowledge of SAST, DAST, API Security, SCA, Container Security, Threat Modelling and Vulnerability Management.
• Proven experience with secure software development, CI/CD security and cloud-native platforms.
• Practical experience securing AI-enabled applications, GenAI solutions, AI agents, RAG architectures or similar technologies.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and advisory skills, with the ability to influence engineering, architecture, cloud, DevSecOps and product stakeholders.
• Knowledge of NIST AI RMF, OWASP, OWASP SAMM or NIST SSDF is desirable, as is experience in regulated industries and relevant security certifications.
