Scott and Ella have recently joined us in the past few weeks. We are excited to welcome them to our Levy Search team, where they will play key roles in contributing to our continued success and growth.
With 6 years prior experience in recruitment placing software engineers into a variety of Quantitative Hedge Funds, Scott will be a valuable addition. Scott has joined Levy Search as a Client Partner and will be focusing on managing and expanding relationships with our existing clients within the US.
Ella has joined Levy Search as a 360 Recruitment Consultant. Ella’s role will be focusing on growing ad managing global partnerships across specialist areas in Web3, AI and Cryptography. Being an expert in Web3, blockchain & AI, and with her expertise working with global companies, she will be a significant contributor to the Levy Search team.

Scott brings a lot of energy to the team, fuelled by his passion for sports like climbing and table tennis, which he used to play competitively. In his free time, you can often find him on the padel court, staying active and honing his skills.
Why did you choose to join Levy?
I chose to join Levy because you have the freedom to define and develop your own niche, enabling you to build and shape your business within the broader organisation. On top of that, the people at Levy are not just talented professionals, but supportive and collaborative individuals. It’s a place where I can develop, surrounded by a team that values both personal and professional growth.
What are your career goals at Levy?
My career goals are to build and expand my own desk, connecting top-tier engineers with leading companies in the US and UK. My focus will be on understanding the unique needs of each client and ensuring that the engineers I place exceed their expectations.
How were your first few weeks at Levy?
From day one, the team has been welcoming and supportive, and the team lunches have provided a great opportunity to connect with everyone on a personal level. I’ve been actively learning the company’s processes, working on various roles, and participating in business development sessions.
Why did you choose to get into recruitment?
I chose to get into recruitment as it is very meritocratic, you get out what you put in. It also involves talking to a lot of different people which I love to do.
After moving from Edinburgh to London, Ella is now a part of our permanent team in the UK! Fluent in French and Spanish, she brings a wealth of international experience to her role. Outside of work, Ella enjoys swimming, running or diving into a good video game.
Why did you choose to join Levy?
My choice to join Levy was influenced by 3 main factors. Primarily, I was really impressed by the quality of the team & the culture that every person is clearly dedicated to curating & maintaining. Also, I liked the very clear vision for growth the leadership team have, which I was keen to be a part of. Lastly, the opportunity to continue working within my field, in a complimentary way to the rest of the team was hard to say no to!
What are your career goals at Levy?
At Levy, my goal is to contribute to the financial and cultural growth of the companies I work with as much I can. I have and will continue to achieve this through my focus on expanding my specialisations within the Web3 space, working alongside my clients with a data driven and consultative approach. I want to continue creating organic relationships & placements where my clients and candidates are happy for the long term.
How were your first few weeks at Levy?
The past 3 weeks at Levy have been amazing. I was nervous moving to London from Edinburgh, but from my first day here I have felt very confident in my decision – this is down to how kind, welcoming and supportive everyone on the team have been from the moment I arrived. I genuinely look forward to working alongside everyone every day!
Why did you choose to get into recruitment?
I was recruited into recruitment; it was never something I had considered or even thought about prior to this. I have found it blends a variety of organisational, technical, relationship & people management skills in a way that really suits me & I genuinely enjoy.
