Levy Search is looking for a driven, ambitious, and enthusiastic Permanent Recruitment Consultant to join our international team in Amsterdam to place permanent IT professionals. As a Permanent Recruitment Consultant, you will be working for several major clients and prospects of Levy and also building new business contacts. The role involves sales, recruitment, new business, client acquisition, and relationship management. You will be setting meetings and building relations for the permanent recruitment needs. You will strategically engage with hiring managers and make sure you know what the client’s needs are. You can make the necessary transitions to ensure that you will create the ultimate match. You will analyse the client, get to know the culture, and learn what the values are. In addition, you will engage in cold acquisition to bring in new projects. Finally, you will mainly focus on building good relationships with both existing and potential clients. You will provide solutions to support the client with exceptionally skilled and international professionals and deliver them successfully.
In addition, you will deal with the full recruitment cycle. Now that you know the client inside and out, you will invest much of your time in hunting and screening the right candidates. The emphasis within this role is on the permanent placement of IT Professionals. It is therefore important that you build solid and market-related Talent Pools of IT candidates and convert them to success. You will gain a deep understanding of your client’s problems and become an expert in the solutions you can offer them.
Who are we searching for?

You are in possession of a Bachelor’s and/or a Master’s degree.
- You have strong verbal and written communication skills in English. Fluent proficiency in Dutch is a plus!
- You have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in professional services preferably with recruitment, secondment & selection of professionals or sales in a commercial environment, involving tasks such as sourcing, screening, interviewing, generating new business and managing client relationships.
- You have some affinity with IT, data, Fintech and/or finance.
- You have experience with ATS software and other recruitment tools such as Bullhorn and LinkedIn Recruiter.
- You are solution-oriented and have a flexible and entrepreneurial attitude.
- You are a demonstrably successful and reliable networker with a business development approach.
- You are a social, driven, proactive, and hardworking person with strong interpersonal skills.
- You have the ability to work under pressure while remaining positive and professional.
- You are eager for learning, developing, and personal growth.
- Experience or familiarity with the Dutch, Benelux and/or Nordic market is a plus.
