As a Business Developer, you will be instrumental in developing our new clients from the ground up, creating new opportunities for growth. You will grow the business by attracting new strategic clients and seeking the ideal win-win scenarios. As part of our Business Development team, you will explore and develop accounts in a specific market, such as Retail, Online, Pharma, Finance, Technology, Telecom, etc. Your primary focus will be on building new businesses and providing solutions to support our clients with exceptionally skilled and international professionals to participate in and successfully deliver IT projects.
It is important that you also work closely with our Delivery Team to build and generate a solid and market-related pipeline of IT candidates for our corporate clients. You will gain a deep understanding of your client’s problems and become an expert in the solutions you can offer them. You will also consistently keep accurate records on Bullhorn, our internal CRM, and ensure that all communications are captured effectively.
Who are we searching for?
- You are based in Brussels, in proximity to Brussels, or open to relocating there.
- You are in possession of a Bachelor’s and/or a Master’s degree (Commercial Economy, Business Management and Administration, Communications etc.)
- You have proficient verbal and written communication skills in French and English. Fluency in Dutch isn’t mandatory but a plus!
- You have 3-5 years of relevant experience working in a commercial environment in business services, preferably in sales with a focus on new business or consultancy and recruitment of IT or Finance professionals.
- You have experience in the Belgium or Benelux market.
- You have an affinity with at least one of the following fields; IT, Data, Fintech, Finance, Risk, Medical, Life Sciences and/or HR.
- You are solution-oriented with a flexible, entrepreneurial attitude, and strong interpersonal skills.
- You are a sales-driven, successful networker with a proactive, adaptable approach, eager for learning and personal growth.
- You have the ability to work under pressure while remaining positive and professional.
